1. Introduction
Welcome to Mountain Desert Plumbing. By using our services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. These terms govern our services, estimates, payments, warranties, and liabilities. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Scope of Services
Mountain Desert Plumbing provides residential and commercial plumbing services, including but not limited to:

  • New construction plumbing

  • Remodels and renovations

  • Pipe repairs and replacements

  • Drain cleaning and sewer repairs

  • Water heater installation and maintenance

  • Gas line installation and repair

  • Water filtration system installation

  • Leak detection and prevention

  • Emergency plumbing services

3. Estimates and Quotes

  • Estimates are provided based on available information and are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified.

  • Quotes may be adjusted if additional work is required due to unforeseen conditions.

  • A deposit may be required for large projects before work begins.

4. Scheduling and Cancellations

  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability.

  • Emergency services are available 24/7 and may incur additional charges.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may result in a fee.

5. Pricing and Payment

  • Pricing is determined based on labor, materials, and service complexity.

  • Payment is due upon job completion, unless otherwise agreed.

  • Accepted payment methods include cash, credit cards, and checks.

  • Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest charges.

6. Refund Policy

  • All sales and services are final.

  • Refunds are not provided once work is completed. However, Mountain Desert Plumbing offers a [X]-day workmanship guarantee to address any issues arising from our service.

  • Refunds on unused materials may be available per supplier return policies.

7. Warranties and Liability

  • Workmanship is warrantied for [X] months from the date of service.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to installed materials and equipment.

  • We are not responsible for pre-existing plumbing conditions, damages due to misuse, lack of maintenance, or external factors.

  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to secure necessary permits, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Customers must ensure safe and clear access to the service area.

9. Health and Safety

  • Our technicians follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

  • Customers must ensure a hazard-free workspace for our technicians.

10. Force Majeure
Mountain Desert Plumbing is not responsible for delays or service failures caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Supply shortages

  • Labor strikes

  • Power outages

11. Dispute Resolution

  • We strive to resolve disputes amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to mediation or legal proceedings under [State] laws.

12. Privacy Policy

  • We collect only necessary customer information to maintain communication.

  • Customer data is never shared, sold, or used for marketing without consent.
